The Copeton Dam upgrade elements included works, bulk excavation of a fuse plug auxiliary spillway channel, set out for the drilling and blasting of approximately 1,200,000m3.
The structures consisted of a four-bay concrete fuse plug and multiple layered clay core embankments.
